Ioanna Konstantinou is a Greek painter inspired by Nature in order to create her own imaginary landscapes. The media she prefers is acrylic paint on linen canvas pasted with pumice gel or water-colour on hand-made cotton paper.
Ioanna Konstantinou studied painting at the Superior School of Fine Arts in Athens (1976-1981) and conservation of works of art at the Paris I University, Sorbonne (1981-1985) with the French Government's scholarship. She has worked for several years as a professor at the Athens Technological Institute of Education and at the National Bank of Greece Cultural Institute. She has had solo exhibitions in Athens, Paris, Oslo, London and Vienna.
